EFFECTS OF AGING:
Excess weight
Because of obesity, fat is deposited on the internal organs and this worsens their work. The risk of exacerbation of cardiovascular and other diseases increases. The ability to move independently decreases.

According to the CDC, by 2030, one in two people in the United States will be significantly overweight. Over 60% of them are elderly people.
EFFECTS OF AGING:
Excess weight
A stable fitness class, a mobile lifestyle, and a low-carb diet allow you to get rid of excess weight.
On average, 15-minute aerobic fitness classes for 30 days allow you to get rid of 4-6 kg of excess weight, combined with proper nutrition from 6 to 10 kg per month.
THE IMPACT OF FITNESS:
Long-term fitness increases the strength of the quadriceps muscle after 12 months of low-intensity training. This reduces the risk of hip fracture in a fall by 85%
Exercises stabilize the ligaments and joints, and tone the muscles. And aerobic training improves blood circulation in the brain responsible for balance and balance.
THE IMPACT OF FITNESS:
According to the National Safety Council, falls are the leading cause of disability and injury deaths among people 65 and older. Physiologically, falls occur due to the degradation of ligaments, joints, muscles, and the degradation of the cerebellum.
EFFECTS OF AGING:
Falls
and other types of dementia
Alzheimer's disease
Regular exercise helps reduce the risk of developing Alzheimer's disease by 50%. And also, sports can slow down its manifestations.
Exercise encourages the brain to maintain old neural connections and create new ones. Also, thanks to active activities, the number of chemicals that protect the brain is growing.
THE IMPACT OF FITNESS:
Alzheimer's disease is the sixth leading cause of death in the United States, with 5.3 million people living with the disease. A new case is diagnosed every 70 seconds.
The disease triples health care costs for Americans over 65.
EFFECTS OF AGING:
Premature disability
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, nearly 12 million adults 65 years and older have a disability; of these, 11 million are not currently in the labor force.
Premature disability, in addition to hereditary diseases, is associated with poor quality of life, lack of physical activity and poor nutrition.
EFFECTS OF AGING:
A study was conducted in which a group of older people engaged in daily fitness demonstrated increased peak oxygen consumption, improved walking strength and speed, and reduced body weight and body fat.
It has been proven that regular physical activity contributes to a long independent life and delays the disability threshold by an average of 8.7 years.
THE IMPACT OF FITNESS:
Diseases of the cardiovascular system
Age-related changes in the cardiovascular system such as ventricular hypertrophy, vascular and arterial degradation, and coronary heart disease.
They are caused by a decrease in the oxygen consumption of older people by more than 30% .
EFFECTS OF AGING:
Stress from training leads to a positive adaptation of the cardiovascular system and improved functional health in older people who maintain a high level of physical fitness. According to the study, the difference between a regular moderate and sedentary lifestyle can mean adding 3.2 years of life without cardiovascular disease.
THE IMPACT OF FITNESS:
Sleep disorder
Insomnia occurs in 87% of the elderly. There are many reasons for insomnia, but they are all related to older people needing to "get tired" more to sleep better. An older person is less tired during the day due to his less busy schedule.
EFFECTS OF AGING:
Fitness improves sleep in 70% of cases. This is due to the accumulation of natural fatigue, psychological distraction, and an increase in oxygen level in the blood.
